Knitted fabric has a fluffy structure with numerous fiber gaps. After dyeing, a large amount of unfixed floating dyes will hide between the fiber gaps and the fabric's fluff. These floating dyes are difficult to remove through conventional simple washing. If not handled thoroughly, the fabric may experience color fading and staining issues during subsequent wearing and washing. Additionally, knitted fabric is not resistant to pulling, and the twisting and rubbing structure of rope-like washing equipment can easily lead to fabric deformation, fuzzing, and decreased elasticity. The equipment adopts a flat-width low-tension conveying structure, which completely avoids fabric entanglement, squeezing, and strong pulling throughout the process, fully preserving the original elasticity and fluffy texture of the knitted fabric. The equipment is divided into three core sections: reduction washing, high-temperature soap boiling, and multi-stage countercurrent washing, with clear functional zoning and a gradual process for removing floating colors and impurities. The dyed knitted fabric is smoothly fed into the equipment, where the free dyes in the gaps are first decomposed by reducing agents, and then the stubborn floating colors and auxiliary agent residues are stripped away through high-temperature soap boiling.
Then, through multi-stage countercurrent rinsing with clean water, dye debris and chemical residue are thoroughly removed, ensuring the cleanliness of the fabric surface. The fabric guiding components of the equipment are made of flexible materials to reduce the probability of fabric surface friction and fuzzing. The water temperature and washing duration in each section can be independently adjusted. For dark-colored fabrics, the soaping reaction time can be extended, while for light-colored fabrics, the reduction cleaning process can be simplified, adapting to differentiated production needs. After being cleaned by the equipment, the knitted fabric exhibits stable color fastness, with a clean surface free of floating colors. Its elasticity and hand feel are not affected by the process, allowing it to be directly connected to post-finishing processes such as setting and preshrinking.
