Natural cotton and linen fibers belong to natural plant fibers, inherently containing various impurities such as pectin, wax, ash, and natural pigments. These impurities adhere to the interior and surface of the fibers, causing the base color of the grey fabric to appear yellowish and the texture to feel rough, while also affecting the dye adsorption effect. The traditional processing mode separates scouring and bleaching into two independent processes, which not only increases the workload of fabric transfer and stacking but also subjects the fabric to multiple tension applications, easily leading to deformation, wrinkles, and other issues. The scouring and bleaching machine integrates these two processes into one, enabling continuous pretreatment processing of grey fabric.
The equipment integrates four core functional modules: alkali immersion scouring, constant temperature steaming, oxidative bleaching, and multi-stage water washing. The grey fabric is continuously conveyed in a flat state throughout the entire process, eliminating the need for midway stoppages and transfers. In the scouring section, the alkaline working solution fully penetrates the fabric, decomposing natural impurities such as pectin and wax on the fiber surface, and stripping oil and ash from the interior of the fibers. The steaming section provides a stable environment for impurity reactions, ensuring the thorough decomposition of impurities. Subsequently, the fabric enters the bleaching section, where specialized bleaching agents are used to dilute the original background color of the grey fabric, achieving uniform whiteness across the fabric surface.
After all processes are completed, the multi-stage countercurrent water washing structure gradually removes residual chemicals and impurity products from the fabric surface, avoiding the impact of chemical residues on subsequent processing. The process parameters of each section of the equipment can be independently adjusted, including temperature, speed, chemical concentration, and padding pressure, making it suitable for cotton and linen shuttle-woven fabrics of different weights and densities. The integrated processing mode simplifies the production process, reduces manual intervention, maintains uniform and stable cleanliness and whiteness of the fabric, and is suitable for batch continuous production. It can directly connect to subsequent processing steps such as mercerization and pad dyeing.
