How to remove the loose dye from reactive dyed fabric?
After the cotton and linen fabrics are dyed and printed using reactive dyes, in addition to the pigments firmly bound to the fibers, a large amount of unfixed free dyes, color paste residues, and auxiliary agent residues remain on the fabric surface and in the fiber gaps. If these floating color substances are directly left in the finished fabric, they can cause color fading and color bleeding during washing, rubbing, and exposure to sunlight, affecting the quality of the fabric's use. The reducing soaping machine is specifically used in the post-finishing process after dyeing and printing, responsible for thoroughly stripping and removing the floating color impurities on the fabric surface.
The equipment adopts a continuous flat-width processing structure, integrating multiple functions such as reduction cleaning, high-temperature soap boiling, and multi-stage countercurrent water washing. After dyeing, the fabric is smoothly fed into the equipment, first entering the reduction cleaning section. Special reducing agents can decompose and destroy the unfixed floating dye structure, allowing free dyes with weaker binding forces to detach from the fiber surface. Subsequently, the fabric enters the high-temperature soap boiling section, where emulsification and dispersion effects of soaping auxiliaries strip off stubborn color slurry residues and auxiliary agent residues, dispersing dye particles accumulated on the fabric surface.
Then, through multi-tank countercurrent circulation water washing, the decomposed dye debris and chemical residue are gradually carried away by clean water, achieving clean processing of the fabric surface. The equipment adopts a low-tension conveyor design throughout the process to avoid problems such as elongation, deformation, and width deviation of the dyed fabric due to pulling. The water temperature, chemical dosage, and fabric running speed in each section can be adjusted as needed, adapting to the processing requirements of fabrics with different processes such as dark colors, light colors, and printing. The fabric treated by reduction soaping has more stable color fastness, with a clean fabric surface free of floating colors, uniform and transparent color, meeting the finished product quality standards of various clothing and home textile fabrics.
