What equipment is used to adjust the width and hand feel of various fabrics after finishing?
After undergoing a series of wet processing steps such as desizing, boiling and bleaching, dyeing, and washing, the fabric may exhibit issues such as high moisture content, inconsistent width, accumulated wrinkles on the surface, a hard feel, and fabric relaxation. If it is directly dried and wound, it can lead to irregular finished product dimensions, poor flatness, and a rough feel. The wet fabric first enters the padding and scouring auxiliary unit, where functional auxiliaries such as softness, smoothness, and antistatic agents can be applied according to production requirements. This ensures that the auxiliaries are evenly attached to the fabric surface, improving the original hand feel of the fabric. Subsequently, the two ends of the fabric are held steadily by precision cloth grips, and the left and right grips can be simultaneously stretched outward to precisely adjust the fabric width according to preset process parameters, correcting the width deviation and wrinkle deformation caused during the wet processing. The setting oven adopts a multi-segment independent temperature control mode, with uniform internal hot air circulation, allowing the entire fabric to be heated uniformly and dried evenly.
After drying and setting, the fabric enters the cooling air zone for rapid cooling to solidify the fiber morphology and lock the setting effect. The equipment can flexibly adjust the stretching amplitude, oven temperature, running speed, and auxiliary agent dosage, adapting to various fabrics such as cotton, linen, knitting, chemical fiber, and printing. The processed fabric has a flat surface without wrinkles, a uniform width, a delicate and soft feel, and improved morphological stability. It can effectively avoid deformation and wrinkling issues during subsequent use and washing, making it a key equipment for quality control of finished fabrics.
